2025 Dates...
As often as we can the Club identifies fun and challenging events, and sometimes ones that are perhaps a little different to usual triathlon endeavours, where we can get as many members to all go and participate together.
We often create something of an impact with our gazebo creating a focal point and village feel and our club colours flying round the course or chatting to others on the sidelines. These are always great fun and a fantastic way to get to know other club members better and to proudly display your Sheffield Triathlon Kit. Events range from Parkruns to local 10k races to cycling Time Trials and hill climbs and this year we are even planning a trip to the Lakes to take part in the Coniston Swim Run event.

FEB 16th - Whirlow 10k
Part of the 'Steel City 10k' series. This is a sunday morning 10km trail run.
APRIL 27th - Dronfield 10k
Very popular local 10km road race. This race always sells out so get booked in asap and let us know you're racing and we will send out details of where to meet to say hello before the race and for a coffee and cake after! Enter and more details here
MAY 21st - Rother Valley Relays
This is a super fun event - all of the running clubs from around South Yorkshire take part in a relay race around Rother Valley Lake. Teams of 4 running one lap each (5km) handing a baton between. We will be set up with the gazebo and have teams competing for prizes as well as teams just challenging themselves and enjoying getting round! Find yourself a team, perhaps on our facebook page - or let us know and we will organise you a team to be part of.
date TBC - Damflask relays
Another Relay race. This time at Damflask Reservoir out the West side of Sheffield. It's beautiful, a great route and will be fab to see STC colours amongst the crowds. Details on their web page here.
JULY 4th - Whitelow Lane Hill Climb
If you've never entered a cycling hill climb do not be intimidated! These events are brilliant! There's always such an atmosphere with crowds cheering you all the way up you'll feel like a seasoned pro. Cyclists of all abilities enter and will be great to have a strong STC presence at this one.
AUG 30th - National Triathlon Relays
Much like the Rother Relays, this national tri relay event at Holme Pierrepont in Nottingham attracts hundreds of clubs in teams of 4 (everybody does all three disciplines, swapping a wrist band to the next member at each transition point) The atmosphere is always crazy and super fun and loads of chance to socialise and check out the event village. A real highlight of the year for many.
