Well folks, Friday’s AGM was attended by close to 40 club members who all enjoyed the free pie ‘n’ peas and most remembered to get their free pint too.

The AGM presentation was conducted by Bob Pringle and Gareth Hunt as the outgoing Chair and Treasurer respectively.

The new committee appointments for 2012 were also made with the following making up the committee for next year:

Chair – Matthew Hartley

Vice Chair – Vicky Moorhead

Treasurer – Gareth Hunt (Caretaker only)

Secretary – Natasha Baines

Coach – Mick Clarkson Shared with Bob Pringle

Membership secretary – Dave Harris

Race organiser – Jon Staniforth

Kit secretary – Vicky Moorhead

Coaching Co-ordinator – Mick Clarkson

Publicity Officer – Gail Phillips

Website – Matthew Hartley

Welfare Officer – Andy Rowland

Resource Organiser – Guy Wreggitt

Social Secretary – t.b.c.

..and one post which somehow got missed was the Junior section Co-Ordinator, which, unless there are any post meeting objections is understood to remain as Nicola Malley.

There were no challenges to these positions and acknowledgement was given to those committee members stepping out of their roles.

A question which was left open to members for their contribution was to assist with helping the club decide how and on what to spend the surplus generated from the year’s activities as re-investment for the next year.
